2010 New Year's Eve

What is so great about New Year Countdown? Well, nothing beats counting down to the New Year with your close buds and girlfriend/boyfriend (if you have one), after all it is a once in a lifetime thing, 2010 New Year is not gonna repeat itself.

It is also a great chance to say goodbye and finally rid off a completely lousy and fucked up year (pardon my French), well that's for me, and embrace the infinite possibilities a new year can bring. There's actually quite a few things I HOPE can happen in 2010, on the contrary that some actually did not happen or had quite an opposite effect in 2009.

I know for some, especially Jojo, William and Ian C., 2009 is a splendid year and hopefully 2010 will bring equal luck and fortune, if not more.

I had listed out 10 things I wanted to do in 2010:
1. Stop smoking (Occasional breach of this during parties acceptable)
2. Stop drinking (EPIC FAILED! The 1st second of the new year already started drinking, lol)
3. Stop driving over the speed limit (Except long distance. Who the hell is gonna drive 70km/h all the way)
4. Stop gambling (so far so good)
5. Do night driving back Miri/Bintulu (Done and it was nothing short of awesome)
6. Graduate from university, convocation at Perth
7. Get a girlfriend (Same hope every year; got fucked up very badly every year)
8. Get a job
9. Get a dog
10. Continue my blog

Enough of myself... it's time for the party details!

What's better than having the last dinner/supper... at McDonalds!
Seriously, lol, I had my last dinner/supper for 2009 at McDonalds. Let the photos prove it to you.

The 2 Fei Zais

Alfred's camwhoring skillz

After that we went to secure tables and seats at Alfresco... Hell, bloody lot of people! Finding car park took around 20 mins, then loiter around, "wash" eyes and trying all out to wait and find tables. We were there for so long, even had time to take quite a few photos.

Ahemz

So sweet (sweat)! Sweat is an inside joke, don't bother

Then, really no other choice already, we went to Siam Thai Bar. Alfresco, Balcony and Cherry Berries was packed right out to the front door and onto the side walk... and for some reason, they played country rock and some oldies, not really our style.

Thai Bar still the best! Cover charge was expensive thou >.<

Some group photos first

Er... The "special" kind of couples

The beer table! Didn't order a lot, only 2-3 cans per person

Okay, from this point on the photos are just random and jumbled up, with no actual sequence. Got lazy to rearrange them:
There are lots more photos... but if I upload more this will no longer be a blog but a mini album, lol.

Got back really early that night (for a clubbing night, that is), around 1.30am.
Then next morning woke up early and went for a nice, warm, delicious breakfast at Ho Poh.

The kueh chap is nice!!! My favourite in Miri
