Sentence for 30th September 2009

Today's blog would be dedicated for my cat, Mimi:

Yeah, that's him!

Found him inside Elaine's car early morning, March 19. 1st I heard a cat's cry, and I didn't heed it, probably a stray cat. But then, it kept on crying for like an hour so I felt like I had to check it out. End up there is a white stray cat under the hood! Then Elaine said: "Lets keep the cat!", I just agreed.

Roughly 2 weeks after we brought him in.

2 months after that, he is so fat, you cant even see the bright red collar in this pic.

Ever since then, he has been with us. The 1st week was hectic! At first, we did not prepare a litter bin for him, since we haven't bought one yet. Elaine's bed was the 1st poop site. While I was laughing my ass off, my bed became the 2nd poop site =.=||| And to make things worse, cats have a natural tendency to have diarrhea when they are in shock. Mimi was no other. Then we straight went to buy a litter bin and collar for it, not wanting him excreting anywhere and everywhere. Luckily we don't need to train him to use the litter bin, but his watery poop is still a problem, we need to constantly check the litter bin and wash it off.

6 months plus has passed. Now this stray cat with just normal white fur became like this:

Yeah, he is now so damn fat, he weights 5kg! At least his fur became silky smooth... need to put him on diet sooner or later.

Now most of you might wonder what we fed him to get him till this fat. One of my housemate, Xiao Li (aka Big Housefly), brought him back home for semester break. The neighbor's kids kept on giving him treats, transforming him into a modern couch potato cat. Now all he does is eat, drink and sleep...

P.S.: Elaine was the one who suggested the name, so don't ask me how come a male cat has a girly name. I prefered the name Zhu Zhu (Pig Pig) thou.
